Inspired Rug Design
I've been inspired by Casey to work on designing a miniature rug. I decided to use an unfinished design I started in AutoCAD while I was in college. I just have to figure out how to transfer it to canvas and what colors I want in it.
Any suggestions on the colors to use would be great. I'm thinking I want burgundy and black in the background. I'll probably add some sort of simple border to it.

wow Anna- this would make a beautiful rug! I would choose fall toned colors because those are the colors I love :)

I see I'm not the only one Miss Casey has inspired! i just finished a little fireplace rug and am now working on the chart she had posted that looked like an oriental carpet...alot of stitchin..but so well worth it. I have always loved sage green with burgandy and black...just a lil somethin to soften the look. Good luck with yours! Please post pics when your done! Beth
